  • Mix the chemical and water in a clean bowl.
  • Water 75%, Sodium 5%, Nitric Acid 20%
  • Check the quantity of the mixture. (Water 75%, Sodium 5%, Nitric Acid 20% Give slow heat to the mixture but don’t give heat more than 50cg ever.
  • Dip the instruments in the ready mixture for approximately 30 minutes after that put out the instruments and drop them into a clean water bowl and shake the instruments continuously so that the instruments are clean from chemicals completely.
  • Then put out the instruments from water and dry them.
  • Make an entry on the process traveler card after compilation of the work.
  • Advantages
  • After the passivation, the instruments will be safe for always from rust.
  • Due to the passivation, we come to know about the material of instrument that is good or bad.
  • Due to this process, we also come to know about the broken instrument and hole.
  • Non-Quality, crack or broken instruments on any stage or any useless instruments due to the mistake of the maker are kept in this tray.
  • Quality Supervisor or Manager checks the rejected instruments and give these instruments for scrap.
  • At the end of every day, the rejected instruments are kept in rejected boxes.
  • Scrap and Rejected instruments are moved two times a month from the right place.
  • Negligence and Relaxation are not acceptable in our production.
  • A rejected tray is kept at different stages of production.
  • Keep the Instruments in the tray with the process traveler card.
  • Instruments should keep in a specific tray or box that can show that these instruments are for rework and take them separately.
  • Write down about all complete work on the process traveler card.
  • After the rework on instruments, Analyze that there is not any kind of change as compared to the sample.
  • Reworked instruments will be checked by the Quality Manager or Supervisor where is necessary.
  • If reworked instruments are passing then mix these instruments in those instruments that already pass and these instruments will be kept in trays or boxes with process traveler cards.
  • If reworked instruments are failing then make the rejection of these instruments and write them down on the process traveler card.

Boil test is conducted on surgical instruments to check the presence of corrosion in instruments resulting due to some manufacturing process faults, OR due to some materials composition faults disturbs the layer of passivation which is applied over the surface of instruments.

We use a top-quality imported chemical to passivate instruments before packing in order to eliminate instruments individually from corrosion & Rust.

Normally this task is conducted on instruments at the end of manufacturing processes using the following procedure given below.

  • Wash instruments very carefully in the mixture of Triclone chemical and soap namely Dustuld Water.
  • Wash the baker with dusted water.
  • Full the baker with dusted Water and put it on the steam for boiling.
  • Put the instruments into the Boiling Water.
  • Stay dips the instruments in the boiling water for 30 minutes.
  • Bring the instruments out of the water and keep them on a clean Tissue.
  • Wait for 24 hours and then check the instruments that there is no sign of rust.
  • Make the entry on the process traveler card.
  • Before Starting the work, check the lot number on Tray Card.
  • Be care full about the safety measures and check the supply.
  • Check the level of Triclosan Chemical in the tank and also check that it is clean according to the Requirement.
  • Check that there is no device in a tank of the previous Lot.
  • Start the Machine and warm up the chemical as per the required temperature.
  • Keep the Devices in a basket or hanger in a proper way.
  • Press the Ultrasonic button and check that chemical is warmed up as per the required temperature.
  • If Ultrasonic spray works properly then continue the process otherwise have some wait.
  • Hold the basket on the boiling side for one to two minutes in such a way that the basket remains itself up to the level of the chemical.
  • Bring the basket towards the Ultrasonic and dip it into the chemical.
  • Press the Ultrasonic button and remain the basket in chemical for one to two minutes.
  • Hold the basket on the Ultrasonic side for 30 seconds.
  • Put out the basket slowly and keep the Device in the tray respectively.
  • Start another Lot after Finishing the First Lot.
  • Make an entry in Traveler Card after completing the Work.
  • Receive the instruments with a Process traveler card in Trays or Boxes.
  • Use the hammer for engraving steel stamps.
  • Etched the instruments electrically on an electric machine.
  • A small cut piece of Fla-lain dip into the chemical number (Electrolyte BE 1) and fix on the Stamping stand.
  • Check the required stamp for the device and fix it on the stand.
  • Press the device on stamps in such a way that the step is placed in the right place correctly.
  • Clean the stamp on a device with chemical number 2.
  • Keep the instrument in tray sequence-wise.
  • After the completion of work, the Quality Assurance supervisor sign and mention the date on the Process traveler card.
  • Keep the instruments in trays with process Traveler.
  • Compare the instrument with, an aster sample or Drawing that it is according to the Pattern.
  • Check the polish and finish conditions of all instruments.
  • Check the blades, rings, and joint box that there is no spot, burr, crack, or broken Piece.
  • Check the 100% cutting instruments through cutting a cloth piece and check that the Cutting is sharp and perfect. Be sure the blades are equal and sharp and cut Smoothly.
  • Check that the serrations of forceps are perfect and the joint box is working properly.
  • Ensure that the needle holder can catch suture thread from its center and corners.
  • The elastic of Dressing, Adson, and Iris Forceps are satisfactory, while punching these Instruments, the serration teeth fit on his places and size is also must be same.
  • Check that the Etching on instruments is perfect and don’t send any instrument for Packing without etching.
  • Reworkable instruments must be identified with red ink.
  • Rejected instruments are kept in rejected boxes or trays.
  • Make an entry on the traveler card after completing the work.
  1. Receive the lot according to the process traveler card.
  2. Make an entry on the stock card of the lot and keep it on a related rack or place.
  3. Retrieve the lot as per production order and send it to the related section.
  4. Make a process traveler card of the related lot and mention the details on the stock card.
